This 1961 Volkswagen Type 2 Kombi underwent a full restoration in 2023 after being imported into the U.S. from Brazil. It is powered by an air-cooled 1,300cc flat-four engine mated to a four-speed manual transmission. Features include, pop-out side windows, pop-out safari-style windshields. Finished in palm green over a dark green with a two tone Green vinyl and suede interior.
 
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of 14-inch two tone green steel wheels with chrome hub caps is wrapped in new  radial tires.
 
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The front bench seat, folding middle seat, rear seat, trim, and door panels are upholstered in a two tone green vinyl and suede combination. Features include manual steering and brakes, and a floor-mounted manual transmission shifter.
 
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 120-kph speedometer and a fuel gauge are located ahead of the driver. We can convert to a MPH speedometer upon request. 
 
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by an air-cooled 1,500cc flat-four engine mated to a four-speed manual transaxle.
 
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Type 2 was factory-equipped with a fully independent suspension and a rear drive axle. Braking is provided by four-wheel manual drums.
